It may have taken five years, but 2XKO is finally in the hands of fighting game players via the ongoing Alpha Lab test — so of course they’ve gotta run some tournaments to celebrate.
TampaNeverSleeps is currently holding a special 2XKO Teams event taking advantage of the game’s 2v2 focus featuring a bunch of top players including TSM|Leffen, Diaphone, K7 Showoff, Cloud805, Smiij, Angelic, Supernoon, NitroNY, LegendaryyPred, Terrence, Remi Celeste, NBNHMR, and more.
There were 124 teams signed up for this one-night tournament, which means there’s 248 competitors trying to show their strength in 2XKO after just a few days of practice.
Matches will be played as a best of 3 until they reach Winners Finals when it’ll switch to best of 5 sets for the remaining games.
Those who go 0-2 will be placed in an extra redemption bracket to basically run another tournament with those newer to the game / genre.
