So, you’ve heard about this TikToker, Campbell “Pookie”, right? She’s been getting a lot of attention lately, especially after Reese Witherspoon gave her a shoutout at the SAG Awards.
Now, you might be wondering, why “Pookie”? Well, it’s a cute story, actually. It all started with her husband, Jett Puckett.
Back in 2017, Jett spotted Campbell at a wine bar in Philly. He was smitten, to say the least. He thought she was the prettiest girl he’d ever seen.
So, he started calling her “Pookie”. It was a name that just came to him, organically. He spilled the beans about this during an exclusive interview with E! News’ Francesca Amiker.
But here’s the kicker. Campbell actually asked for a nickname. She wanted something special from Jett, who she ended up marrying in 2018.
And guess what? The name stuck. Campbell, or should I say “Pookie”, is now 31 and still goes by that pet name.
When they’re in public, Jett might call her Campbell. But usually, it’s “Pookie” or “babe”.
Why “Pookie”, you ask? Jett’s answer is simple. “She just looks like a Pookie,” he said. “It’s perfect for her.”
