Tier list ranking the biggest winners and losers of The King of Fighters 15's Season 2 balance update released by Frionel
The King of Fighters 15 is set to receive its big Season 2 balance update in just a few days, but the patch notes for it are so long, players may find it difficult to completely grasp how much of an impact the adjustments are likely going to make.
That’s why longtime competitive player Frionel recently put together an early ranking of the biggest winners and losers of KOF15’s Season 2’s update in a way most fighting game fan should understand — a tier list.
As for those who came out the other side as the “big winners” of the updates in terms of buffs, Benimaru, Iori, Yuri, K’, Yamazaki and more should have more strong tools to work with or at least shouldn’t get weaker. according to Frionel.
KOF’s Season 2 re-balancing will of course be taking a crack at nerfing the top tiers that have been dominating the competitive scene for months with Rock Howard arguably getting slapped the hardest among them since many of his attacks are going to have longer recovery and whiff animations plus some less damaging combos.
That applies to the likes of Krohnen, Gato, B. Jenet. Chizuru and Mai as well, but not enough to put them in the biggest losers category for Frionel.
Overall though, most of the large cast of KOF15 can be found in the winners section, so the game should hopefully be quite a bit more exciting when the time comes to get our hands on these upcoming changes.
