Tier list ranking the best and worst level 2 Supers in Street Fighter 6 crafted by Smug and Shine

In Street Fighter 6, level 2 Super Arts find themselves in an interesting position within a character’s toolkit, leaving them more for utility than most level 1 or level 3 Supers in the game.

Longtime competitors Smug and Shine recently joined forces to craft a new SF6 tier list that ranks the best level 2 Supers out there right now.

The duo start out with Guile first with an agreement that Solid Puncher is an S tier move because of just how much those extra Sonic Booms can cover in terms of lock down, combos or even full on checkmates in burnout.

Next up on the list is Lily, who ends up in the B category because while it can be useful in its utility to use in the air and on the ground, the big spin is not the most consistent or fastest around.

As for his own character, Shine rates Kimberly as the worst because it’s too slow and spacing specific to use in anything but combo enders, but you may as well just save up for the level 3 with the bigger damage and buff.

Smug spends a good bit of time delving into Dee Jay’s Sunrise Festival attacks that are quite good because of the different variants, fireball invincibility and ability to end it early to continue your own combo, but requires much more manual control to get that damage that can be messed up.

And if you’re looking for the best level 2 in SF6 currently, Rashid’s seems to be the easiest pick.

You can check out Smug and Shine’s final level 2 tier list for Street Fighter 6 below as well as their video where they spend much more time going over their picks and in online training mode to show off what makes them good / bad.
