Thousands Muslims Pray and Celebrate EID Mubarak in Brooklyn

April 10 2024 BROOKLYN, New York – Thousands, the largest turn out at this event, gathered for a EID Al-Fitr prayer and event in Bensonhurst Park in Brooklyn this Wednesday morning.

EID organizers spoke on this being the largest turn out they ever had, with thousands in attendance.

Eid Mubarak is an Arabic term that means “Blessed feast/festival’”. The term is used by Muslims all over the world as a greeting on the feast. People celebrate Eid al-Fitr at the end of Ramadan and Eid al-Adha in the month of Dhul Hijjah, according to Wikipedia.

Event started at 7:30am at Caezars Bay Field and offered toys, balloons, henna and face painting for families.
