Earlier today centredevils covered that Brentford manager Thomas Frank has emerged as a contender for the Man United managerial role should INEOS decide to part ways with Erik ten Hag.

There are contrasting sides to the manager’s affairs as Frank is as happy as could be at Brentford, a feeling that hasn’t come by Old Trafford and to ten Hag in a while.

Danish outlet Bold contacted the 50-year-old tactician to get a comment on these recent reports and rumours linking him with the hottest seat in world football.

Frank made it clear he is absolutely happy at Brentford and has no plans of leaving.

“I am really happy where I am,” he stressed. “It is close to being the perfect club to be in. I can see myself being here for many more years,” Frank made his stance clear in how happy he is at Brentford.

He went ahead to praise The Bees reiterating how much it feels like a family making him feel at home.

“I am close to the owner, to the sports director, to everyone around the club. Brentford is a club where I really feel at home,” Frank reiterated.

With regard to the links to United he recognized this and colored himself flattered for his efforts and work at Brentford being recognized.

“Immediately I think it is flattering and a recognition in relation to what I do. And I am glad that others are noticing the work we are doing at Brentford. Having said that, what goes on at the club is not a one-man show,” Frank said.

Regarding the rumours, he declined to comment and asked people not to believe everything they hear.

“I am not going to comment on all the rumours that have been about me. You shouldn’t believe everything,” he concluded.
