This Street Fighter 6 Juri cosplay by Mamichi looks more like the game than real life

Especially after we got a load of her latest design in Street Fighter 6, Juri art has been more than prevalent in the fighting game community as the character is just so beloved by so many. Illustrations, cosplays, and 3D models depicting the femme fatale have become a dime a dozen, and we actually initially thought the photos in today’s post might have been AI renders as opposed to actual photographs.

Enter Mamichi_913 and her incredible transformation into the Street Fighter 6 version of Juri. While video games grow increasingly toward looking like real life, Mamichi is making real life look like video games.

Not only are the cosplayer’s hair, eyes, and accessories absolutely on point, but the lighting and execution of the shots makes it seem as though we might just be looking at some in-game photography mode at times.

Some of this effect is likely achieved in post production, (or perhaps Mamichi just has the most flawless and moisturized skin of anyone on the planet) but the end result is the closest thing to in-game SF6 Juri we’ve ever seen.

Here’s a good first example as Mamichi offers us a crazy glare and a threatening (enticing?) foot. Take care to notice the lighting as it closely resembles what we see in modern consoles that use some of the latest ray tracing technology:

Not only does the subject clearly show off tons of hard work and preparation, the background in these shots is an immaculate recreation of Street Fighter 6’s garage-themed character select area.

We see this pose more often than we’d like to (it’s from Juri’s win screen and none of us on the EventHubs team play the character) but we still have to give credit for an awesome photo.

What do you think Juri is looking at here? Our best guess is that she’s appreciating how good these same photos are.

This last embed offers a little behind the scenes action as we see one of the crew (we assume there was an entire crew behind these) positioning a light in the background. Even the outtakes look incredible.

What did you think of Mamichi’s cosplayer here? Be sure to follower her on Twitter for more like this as she has previous iterations of the character as well as plenty of other recognizable gaming and pop culture figures there.
