As an Akuma player, if I were to be hit by this in a real match I very well may just quit playing for the day. Lab monster Javits Arias (inspired by ojiichan_63mumi) has figured out how to pull off an incredible 9140 damage combo with Guile, which is enough to KO the 9000 health Akuma in a single go.
This sequence is an impressive display of both creativity and execution in Street Fighter 6 and Javits uses seemingly every trick in the book to lop off loads of life. Continue on to see how.
Something to know going into this: enhanced Sonic Blade Boom knocks down on hit. With that in mind, near the beginning of the combo Javits hits his jumping heavy punch on the exact same frame as the second hit of the enhanced Sonic Blade Boom to cancel out the knock down and keep Akuma standing.
The first time you watch your attention is likely going to be drawn to health bars and the animations on the screen, but there’s more reason to be impressed when you start paying attention to the Super meter on your third or fourth time through.
When Guile activates his level 2 (Solid Puncher) near the very start of the combo, he’s not building any gauge. The entire time S2 is active the meter itself is used to indicate how many baby Booms are left in the tank, and only after the entire level 2 sequence does Guile’s gauge begin to increase again.
That means that after some 16 hits of combo Guile is left at one bar of Super, and must proceed to build up a full two additional bars before he’s able to tie things off with a level 3.
The Guile player must link hits together without the use of Super 2 until their combo reaches 50 and they’re able to launch into Crossfire Somersault from standing heavy kick. Check it out:
