This is how Motaro in his more human form could look like in Mortal Kombat 1 and it's about as cursed as you'd imagine

After being pretty much gone for the past decade, Motaro finally returned in the new realm of Mortal Kombat 1, even if he’s not actually playable (yet at least).

The Centraurian is getting some “love” from the modding community already by making him a cursed human with pants and all.

SHAAR just recently unveiled the PC mod that takes away his back legs and rear half of Motaro’s body, and it doesn’t look bad — but it also doesn’t look right.

When he’s just standing there and posing, he’s not too bad, but in motion, Mortaro’s still got those horse legs on his character rigging.

So it’s both funny and a bit disturbing to see him basically start hovering and kicking his legs wildly in the pre-fight introduction.

This wouldn’t be the first time Motaro would be bipedal since Mortal Kombat: Armageddon turned him more into a satyr, and there’s probably some good reasons they haven’t gone back to that afterwards.

We also recently covered another cursed mod from SHAAR that removes Tremor’s mask in MK1 that reveals the developers didn’t exactly model his face and head all the way around fully.

It doesn’t appear as though this Motaro mod is available to the public as of yet, but you can still check it out in motion below.
