Being able to react to the opponent’s burst options is an incredibly useful skill in Street Fighter 6. There are a number of universal methods of approaching the opposition which includes Drive Rush, walking forward, dashing forward, or jumping.

Of course, there are plenty of combatants that have their own unique tools that can also add to the equation. Dhalsim, for example, can teleport behind the enemy and secure some free pressure if they’re not ready for it.

Evidently, this strategy is ill advised against KSP|Ixion as he has a reputation of consistently punishing teleports. A recent clip highlighted by SIN|MajimaFGC showcases this.

Immediately after teching a throw attempt from Ixion’s Dee Jay, the opposing Dhalsim player found himself trapped in the corner. Without hesitation, he attempted to use an aerial teleport to escape this bad situation.

Ixion was able to secure a Punish Counter against this teleport with a powerful anti air attack. From here, Dee Jay was able to perform the combo he’s become so famous (or infamous) for in Street Fighter 6.

Of course, it didn’t really matter that Ixion’s combo was taking Dhalsim from corner to corner. Due to his life deficit, Dee Jay was able to end the match with his level 1 super art. Overall, the juggle looked like something you’d expect from the Tekken series.
