These Samsung smartphones are now receiving the One UI 5.0 (Android 13) stable version

Samsung is pushing Android 13 / One UI 5.0 stable version system updates to more models. The company has initially released this update for some models. The stable One UI 5.0 update is currently landing on the following models

  • Samsung Galaxy A22 in Europe
  • Samsung Galaxy A23 LTE / 5G in Germany and Russia
  • Samsung Galaxy M22 in Europe
  • Samsung Galaxy S20 FE (LTE) Snapdragon Edition in Serbia
  • Samsung Galaxy A42 5G in South Korea
  • Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G in Europe
  • Samsung Galaxy A32 LTE in Europe
  • Samsung Galaxy A51 LTE in Europe
  • Samsung Galaxy A13 5G in Europe

Samsung Android 13 (One UI 5.0) brings top upgrades

Samsung Android 13 (One UI 5.0) update brings an innovative UI design. It expands its features including stacked widgets, larger app icons in the notification area, adjusted quick settings switches, and redesign of the notification area. The new software also brings per-app language settings for supported apps. It also improves built-in apps and more accessibility settings. Samsung also adds OCR (optical character recognition) functionality throughout the system. Thus, camera and gallery apps can extract text from images. Even the Samsung keyboard can open the camera view to capture text from the live camera feed.

Samsung One UI 5.0

Samsung has renamed Bixby Routines to Modes & Routines. It’s a simpler version of Bixby Routines, with a few routines preset for most people. Both Bixby and Modes & Routines are getting new features and options. There are now more options for how each app displays notifications.

The system now also has more emojis, animated emojis and AR emojis. There is also a simplified privacy and security section. The system also brings upgrades to the search feature within built-in apps and One UI. The camera app gets a slightly simplified design. Samsung DeX UI has also been improved. Samsung Gallery, Samsung Internet, Samsung My Files, and other built-in apps are getting lots of new features. Memory expansion can now be customized or turned off.
