Tekken 8 is off to a rousing start that surely has fans both new and returning experiencing maximum levels of fun, but there’s even more to be had once you learn about the handful of secrets and hidden features.
Enter Rooflemonger with a new video showing off five such secrets that range from silly Easter eggs to actually useful mid-fight maneuvers. Continue on to see what they are.
Tekken 8’s customization mode is all the rage right now as it allows players tons of freedom to redesign their favorite characters, but did you know that some of the accessories aren’t just for show?
The game doesn’t necessarily do a great job of telling you, but certain items that appear to be just custom attire can actually function in the fight. Rooflemonger shows us in the video how you can actually use a shotgun or what must be a very stale baguette in the heat of battle.
Long time fans may be familiar with the Heihachi “headbutt carnival” that started way back in Tekken 3. The senior Mishima had a secret throw which saw him headbutt his opponent, and when hit by this male characters could respond with a headbutt back of their own. A girls-only variant of this was also given to Anna and Nina Williams with slaps replacing headbutts.
This hidden interaction has returned yet again as Nina Williams has the option to slap her female foes, and all but Reina (for some strange reason) are able to retaliate in the same fashion.
