After developers Mane6 were effectively shuttered and future work on the game ceased (despite unfulfilled crowdfunding goals), Them’s Fightin’ Herds released two final DLC characters at the same time, and they were pretty shockingly broken by any standards.
Now over a month beyond their launch, publisher Maximum Entertainment put out the Version 6.0.0 Rev2 update for Them’s Fightin’ Herds in an attempt to fix Baihe and Nidra’s massive issues and other problems with the game.
Upon hitting the game, Baihe and Nidra’s inclusion produced wild glitches we almost never see anymore in modern fighting games.
There were multiple instances of infinite combos, attacks that broke matches completely, freezes, crashes, slowdown, stalling after matches, and more glaring issues that basically rendered the final DLC unplayable.
This of course led the competitive community to outright ban them from tournaments and whittle down most of what little faith remained in the project.
The playerbase was already understandably unhappy because development ending meant Them’s Fightin’ Herds’ ambitious Story Mode would not be completed beyond the first chapter along with other promises not yet fulfilled from the game’s crowdfunding campaign, which received over $586,000 from backers.
And let’s not forget about Nidra. Gives me Ruby Heart glitch vibes. pic.twitter.com/b9A9nqUOKN

This was long before Mane6 was purchased by Modus Games, now Maximum Entertainment, in 2022 followed by the announcement that the game was ceasing development in late 2023 along with most of the studio itself.
Most if not all of the major glitches and issues surrounding Baihe and Nidra have been addressed in this new update as well as a number of other changes according to the patch notes.
The official statement from Maximum says they “remain committed to ensuring TFH stays competitive and viable for all players” with more patches coming to the game as needed going forward.
As far as we can tell, there aren’t really any more updates for those seeking refunds for the campaign goals from Indiegogo remaining unfinished.
The new Version 6.0.0 Rev2 update is said to be live now on PC and consoles, and you can check out the patch notes below or on Steam.
