Earlier this month, TheMainManSWE released his first traditional tier list for Tekken 8. Recently on YouTube, TheMainManSWE released another tier list for Tekken 8, this time ranking characters based on their difficulty.
Characters at the top of the tier list are said to be the most difficult while those at the bottom have been labeled as being easy. A fighter that’s easy to play isn’t necessarily going to be top tier, but there are a few instances of easy-to-play top tiers.
Bryan, Steve, Kazuya, Devil Jin, and Reina are said to be the most difficult characters in Tekken 8. It’s certainly interesting to see that Kazuya is on the top of the list as newcomers might believe him to be a good starting point to get into the Tekken series, but this actually isn’t the case.
The easiest characters in the game are said to be Panda, Victor, Kuma, Jun, Lars, Alisa, Azucena, Feng, and Dragunov. Notably, Alisa, Azucena, Feng, Jun, and Dragunov are said to be very strong in the meta, so they’re probably the best characters to pick for those just starting out.
TheMainManSWE ends up spending over three hours discussing his placements for this difficulty tier list. After making the simple adjustment of moving Nina from being easy to intermediate, TheMainManSWE states that he’s extremely happy with how the tier list turned out.
