RB|Arslan Ash firmly established himself as the best overall Tekken 7 player by becoming the first Triple Crown champion in the year 2023, Tekken 7’s final year before the release of Tekken 8, by winning the Evo Japan 2023, Evo 2023, and the Tekken World Tour 2023 Finals.
Needless to say, it’s pretty much expected that Arslan Ash will continue his dominance in Tekken 8 now that it’s been released. We’re already beginning to get a glimpse of this as Xuses recently released a video featuring gameplay from Arslan Ash where he’s already inflicting quite a bit of pain against his opponents.
Throughout the video, Arslan Ash can be seen playing as Reina, Azucena, and Nina. Over on Twitter, Arslan Ash has indicated that he intends to main Reina and Azucena for now, especially considering his belief that Zafina feels weak right now.
Most commonly asked questions these days:
1. Who will I main in T8? Azucena and Reina for now.
2. Favorite stage? Coliseum of Fate.
3. Is Zafina bad? She’s kinda dead.
4. Thoughts on Tekken 8? Not loving it yet. Chip damage, heat burst, and smash are way too OP. Changes…

While playing as Reina, Arslan Ash utilizes a highly aggressive playstyle in which he’s constantly smothering the opponent. Amazingly, he already seems to understand which strings can be interrupted and punished.
Though Azucena is a brad new character that seemingly has no prior connections to anyone else, Arslan Ash has already figured how to incorporate Azucena’s feints into his overall game plan. Needless to say, he’s able to keep opponents guessing in tricky scenarios.
Arslan Ash doesn’t play as Nina quite as much as the other two, but he can be seen incorporating Nina’s gun gameplay quite well. Check it all out below:
