Typical of any fighting game, some moves are simply better than others in Street Fighter 6. Recently, Broski released a video that has him highlighting which moves in Street Fighter 6 Season 2 that he believes are the five worst overall moves.
Near the beginning of the video, Broski mentions that this list has changed since the Season 2 patch as some moves that were previously worthless were made somewhat more useful. Though Zangief’s level 2 super art is actually a very good super, it leads to one of four different follow ups, one of which is said to be the fifth worst move in Street Fighter 6.
By holding forward after using the Cyclone Lariat, the opponent will be slammed into the ground. However, Zangief then chooses to roll backwards, negating any potential Okizeme opportunities.
Not only that, but this particular follow up doesn’t even deal as much damage as other Cyclone Lariat variations. Needless to say, there’s never a reason to use this version of the super art.
Kimberly’s Shuriken Bomb Spread, which effectively throws out two spray paint cans at once, also makes the list. During the video, Broski mentions how simply throwing one spray can out at a time already does everything that a Kimberly player wants to do anyhow.
Although the Shuriken Bomb Spread isn’t technically an Overdrive move, it’s still a resource intensive move since it spends two spray cans. It’s too bad the spray cans don’t detonate with different timings as Broski mentions that the move might be salvageable if they did.
Check out the video below to find out the other three moves that Broski deemed as being useless:
