The news about Governor Ortom of Benue state court case was true, but those rumours were put behind him when the court ruled out what was going to look like his ejection from office on the 15th of January, 2016.
The Apex Court ruled on the ground that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the poll, Mr Tarzoor Terhemen, lacked locus standi to challenge the qualification of Mr Ortom.
Justice Nwali Ngwuta, who read the judgment, affirmed the election of Mr Ortom as Benue Governor and awarded 150,000 Naira, as cost against Mr Terhemen .
It’s just a shame for his enemies as this will even make him stronger and stronger.
