Street Fighter 6’s online modes and features are being taken offline early next week in anticipation of the game’s next big update. Capcom is gearing up for more server maintenance that is expected to last about four hours.
Capcom has now revealed the times and dates for this server maintenance, and you’ll definitely want to know the details on this one. Yes, once this maintenance period has concluded, the first ever Street Fighter guest character, Terry Bogard, will finally be playable.
“[Notice] #StreetFighter 6 server maintenance will take place during the time below,” wrote the official Street Fighter 6 Twitter account. “This maintenance is expected to last around 4 hours.”
The Buckler’s Boot Camp website has updated with the full set of details about this maintenance period. Below are the times and dates you need to know.
• Monday, September 23 – 8 p.m. – 12 a.m. PDT
• Tuesday, September 24 – 3 a.m. – 7 a.m. UTC
• Tuesday, September 24 – 12 a.m. – 4 p.m. JST
As always, Capcom has taken the opportunity to remind players that the times for this maintenance period are subject to change. Challenges, Fighting Pass, and the in-game shop cannot be accessed even during their availability periods, and all online modes are inaccessible while the maintenance is running.
It is also worth noting that maintenance periods usually delete any replay data you might have. So if you’re aiming to keep some of your recent footage, be sure to jump in before Monday night to capture it.

“Prepare for Terry’s arrival!” writes the official Street Fighter Twitter account. SNK’s own Terry Bogard will be playable as part of the Season 2 DLC roster when this maintenance period wraps, which is obviously the biggest addition coming along with this update.
On top of that, Capcom is also adding a new feature to Street Fighter 6 in its V-Rivals mode. With it, players can face off against AI opponents that are generated based on specific parameters (such as rank and control type), and these opponents are fleshed out from actual ranked match data of real players.
We’ll also likely see a handful of bug fixes and stability improvements made, though no confirmation of any balance changes for this update has been made at this point in time.
