Time is flying by, and we are now just under a month away from the official release of Tekken 8. Bandai Namco is tying up some loose ends right now and releasing gameplay trailers for the last handful of characters that were announced, but hadn’t been fully showcased just yet, as well as sharing other helpful info to prepare players for the next battle.
Keeping with this motif, the company behind the Tekken series has updated the game’s official website to now include move lists for all 32 of the launch characters. We now get to see what kind of moves some of the more recently revealed fighters have at their disposal, including Devil Jin, Kuma, Yoshimitsu, newcomer Victor, and more.
As far as what these move listings provide, obviously, not every more is included here as each character in Tekken 8 (and Tekken games in general) tend to have a lot of moves with some having over 100. What they do give you are the character’s key attacks, and this acts as a great jumping off point for those who are trying to learn the game or a new character.
At the top we find a brief description of the fighter, which details who they are and what their motivations are in Tekken 8. We also see general information such as their country of origin and fighting style.
One of the most important new mechanics featured in Tekken 8 is the Heat System, and these move listings provide information about each character’s Heat moves and the abilities they get from it. Alisa, for example, gets increased chip damage from blocked chainsaws when she has Heat activated, and she also get access to more attacks.
Every fighter also sees an example combo on their move list, which is excellent for not only giving newcomers a sequence to practice right out of the gate, but also to give the player an idea of how combos with that specific character feel.
To get you started, we have included the move lists for some of the more recently revealed characters in Tekken 8 below. You’ll find moves for Yoshimitsu, Kuma, Panda, Alisa, Victor, and Zafina below, but be sure to head over to the official Tekken 8 website to see them all.
