The SAPI (Autonomous Service of Intellectual Property) granted the trademark registration to those who, for ten years, have been in charge of raising and consolidating the group in our country again
Caracas, November 2024.- Six years of legal struggle have finally come to an end. The assignment of the name “Payasitas NifuNifa” was left in the hands of those who for ten years have worked and consolidated the brand again in Venezuela.
Under classes 38 and 41, the SAPI (Autonomous Service of Intellectual Property) granted the trademark registration to those who have not stopped betting on our country during all these years. The “white gloves” girls, as they were nicknamed while this process was coming to an end, are the only ones authorized to use the name, logo and clothing of the Payasitas NifuNifa in Venezuela in the areas of Telecommunications, entertainment, cultural, sports, educational activities, music, choirs, children’s events and parties, animations and any area that includes shows.
During a press conference held this Thursday, November 14, at the Hard Rock Café facilities in Caracas, Dayana, Carolina, Roma, Fátima, Andrea, Carmen Rosa, Eliana, Karol, Valentina and Alegna, members of the Payasitas NifuNifa, expressed their eternal gratitude to all the media that, despite the problems, did not stop supporting them during this process. “We did it. We wanted to call this new chapter ‘the gratitude.’ Thank you to all those who supported us during these years of struggle, for their trust, for their demonstrations of affection and love, for allowing our country to continue to be painted in colors, because we will continue traveling in an ‘Alibombo’ of illusions and because we will always be able to show that innocence does not go out of style.”
Las Payasitas NifuNifa have 40 years of experience. In their beginnings, the rights were transferred to Rodven and “when that record label disappeared, the brand was left in the air, that is why in 2018 we requested it from Sapi,” they explained. “We feel a great commitment and a great responsibility. We represent 40 years of experience, we carry the essence in our panties and wigs, we are willing to continue bringing joy and emotion to the Venezuelan family,” they assured.
The members of Venezuela’s most beloved children’s group made it clear that, despite “the hard times, full of disappointment and sadness, unfair because we were and are always focused on working for and with children, we were labeled as everything we are not. Since 2014, when we met again, we had a single objective: to reposition our group so that the children of this generation would know us and sing our songs. And we did it!” they commented.
Now a new, and better, chapter will be lived within the Payasitas NifuNifa, who are about to begin a national concert tour with AVEC (Venezuelan Association of Catholic Schools), with which they will travel to the most remote corners of our country. In addition, they will already begin the promotion of a new version of the single “Enamorada”, produced by the legendary Rudy La Scala.
