The Incompetence of Ayade's SA on Diaspora —By Obasesam Okoi

One of the dangers of Ayade's government is that the few competent people around the governor are not really empowered to make things happen.

For example, Yakurr in Diaspora North America just held its annual convention in Dallas. Beside the Efiks, we represent the biggest, most progressive, and most visible Diaspora community in the world composed of members indigenous to Cross River State.

But the Special Adviser to the Governor on Diaspora, Mr Mathiew Okri has no inkling what's going on in the world concerning the Cross River Diaspora community. His office is very redundant.

To overcome redundancy, he deploys his energy in singing praises and fighting those criticizing the system instead of bringing visibility to the Cross River Diaspora community through progressive initiatives such as Yakurr in Diaspora and many others across Europe and North America.

As an example of true leadership, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Branding, Dr Dorncklaimz Enamhe has not only placed a call to America to felicitate with Yakurr in Diaspora, but also has endorsed almost every photograph that emerged from our recent convention in Dallas.

It is important to note that Ayade's reputation has been badly damaged locally and internationally through the poor communication of his incompetent media team members who struggle unsuccessfully at every attempt to teach us development  philosophy.

Thanks to a man like Dorncklaimz, who has taken many progressive steps to rebrand Ayade's image by extending a handshake to frontline critics of the government. However, some of us are skeptical  that any good thing will come out of Ayade's government given his faulty foundation.
