The entire Liverpool squad are ‘certified club legends’ – even if they don’t win another trophy this season.

That’s according to comedian and Liverpool fan Adam Rowe, who says the whole feeling around the city has been different over the last few months.

Liverpool’s good form has put them in contention to win an unprecedented quadruple, having already won the Carabao Cup earlier this year.

They have reached the FA Cup final, the Champions League semi-finals, and are just a point behind Manchester City in the Premier League table.

But even if they don’t manage to lift another piece of silverware again this year, Rowe still thinks this group of players will go down in club folklore.

“Regardless of how this season ends, this entire squad are certified Liverpool legends,” he told talkSPORT. 

“Football, for me, as much as it is about winning trophies, there’s a big part of it that is about the journey and the optimism. 

“And the feeling in the air in the city at the minute is just something I’ve never experienced before as a football fan. 

“These days, regardless of how this season ends, are as good as it gets as a football fan. 

“And I’m making a very conscious effort to make sure I remember every single one of them at the minute.”
