I practically do not have time for politics, because I have short fuse for bullshits.
And naturally, contradictions and selective amnesia constitute the array of bullshits making the round in the struggle ahead of the Cross River State gubernatorial election to decide who the next CEO of the State would be.
One of the former governors in Cross River State recently said that Cross Riverians should vote APC out of Cross River State_ I can't help but laugh at the statement. First, the said ex-governor pretended that APC has been in charge of Cross River State for years, whereas, it was just two years ago that Gov. Ben Ayade crossed over to APC, and for 6years, and even more while he was a senator he was a PDP member and as a PDP governor, the said ex-governor was seen praising Ayade over a questionable rice seedling revolution while appearing with him with allegations making the round that something was in for him.
Three years down the line, the same ex-governor is now pretending that PDP wasn't in charge of Cross River State all of a sudden, the same ex-governor that was accused by Sen. Florence Ita Giwa of implanting 419 projects up and down the State during his time as governor that does not benefit the State and left the State up-taking huge and toxic debts.
On the flip side, that was the man in charge of Cross River State when Cross River State's Bakassi Peninsula, one of the richest in the world was ceded to Cameroon, a place we all knew to this day as Efik territory in Nigeria, even Cameroon and France can attest to that in their most noble conscience.
To take such a man seriously or accord any value to his future interest, would amount to an unbelievable height of absurdity. One that would cost the State maybe another boundary community ceded to another country or the rise of a new regime of 419 projects for fund disappearance as we have been warned by Sen. Florence Ita Giwa who said she was asked to leave the decision room where Bakassi Peninsula was ceded in London.
I have taken my time to put together the following questions for Cross Riverians to decide who they should be voting for this Saturday:
1. Who among the candidates is less arrogant and approachable with ideas that can profit the development of the State without only just benefiting political dinosaurs and elites that have been on the political field for decades milking the State and keeping the mass poor?
2. Who among the contenders has love and compassion in his heart ❤️ that can listen to the people and act for the good of humanity and the community?
3. Who truly is coming to run a revenue point-sharing government for the sole aim of profiting from internal parasites and external political investors from another State?
I will leave these simple questions to guide your decision as I encourage you all to let love and compassion dictate your vote and not some hatred and arrogance making the round along with contractions and selective amnesia making the round ahead of the 2023 Gubernatorial Election in Cross River State.
Signed
