Manchester United are gearing up for life under Ruben Amorim as their new manager led the club to his first win at Old Trafford this week.
United managed a 3-2 win over Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League thanks to an Alejandro Garnacho opener and a brace from Rasmus Hojlund.
Now, Amorim is looking to find his ideal set-up using his current squad.
Whilst most of the squad are fitting into positions naturally or fitting in with slight adjustments, some players are no longer fitting into life at the club under Amorim.
The Portuguese manager is looking to offload Joshua Zirkzee, Antony and Casemiro to generate funds to make some new signings for the club.
Amorim is looking at a range of targets including Geovany Quenda, Viktor Gyokeres, Liam Delap and Tomas Araujo.
However, other potential signings like Angel Gomes and Alphonso Davies could be more likely to be on free transfers.
Either way, The Athletic have now reported the decision-makers set on choosing who United will be buying at selling.

The decision-makers at Manchester United
The first indication of a change in decision-making has been Amorim being appointed as head coach rather than manager, highlighting the more limited role he’ll be playing in off-field decisions.
As sporting director, Dan Ashworth is expected to lead the long-term squad shaping of the club, however, he’ll be working closely with the inputs of his colleagues.
Omar Berrada, the club’s CEO will be heavily involved given his football perspective, playing a big part in appointing Amorim.
Technical director Jason Wilcox will also be included in the process, as will interim head of recruitment Christopher Vivell.
The report indicates that the decision-making, whilst sitting with Ashworth, will be a group effort of the new team that INEOS has appointed.
Whilst not officially part of the decision-making process, Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sir Dave Brailsford also want to be kept informed of any choices made.
