I just can’t hold it, that’s why I have to let it out. Our people says ‘he who is abandoned, never grow’, for even crops on the farm never yield well when abandoned. Same to we humans and inexplicably our projects too.
This project was supposed to be a trade and pride for the people of Ogoja and the entire youths, but it nature now will leave you with tears.
I had my way into the new Township Stadium location at Okuku road, Opposite Ogoja barracks. But, what I found was an abandoned desert, a cow grazing field and a place for mad men and animals. The crowd has disappeared and the spirit of the game is lost. Oh ye little town of Ogoja, why can’t our leaders make us grow?!
