Texas Showdown is back again for 2024 and as you’d expect it’s happening in Houston, Texas, U.S.A.

Notable players participating include RB|Anakin, PAR|JoeCrush, Nfinite|Shinblade, TUE|Genghis D0n, Trojan, SB|AzeemX, Brian_F, NG Obscure, Blitz|Jermanji, BigBlack, Bass, Lucar, NGNL|Zane, 9Moons|Rat, Elsa, Kanme|Xerom, Juliocrivera, Danke and more.

The biggest event at Texas Showdown 2024 is Tekken 8 which lands at over 300 competitors followed closely by Street Fighter 6 which sits at around 280 participants.

Guilty Gear Strive and Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising both have around 125 registered players each while Under Night In-Birth 2 [Sys:Celes] has around 85 signups followed by Mortal Kombat 1 at just above 70 registrants and then Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike which also broke the 50 person mark.

There will also be main tournament play for Dragon Ball FighterZ, Super Street Fighter 2: Turbo, BlazBlue: Central Fiction, Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, King of Fighters 15, Killer Instinct, Capcom vs. SNK 2, Street Fighter Alpha 2, Vampire Savior (Darkstalkers), Soul Calibur 6 and Melty Blood: Type Lumina. There’s also a bunch of side tournaments including a special Ultra Street Fighter 4 memorial tournament in honor of the late BrolyLegs.
