Fox News reported that Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad claimed joint responsibility for Sunday’s explosion. In a Monday statement obtained by Fox News, Al-Qassam Brigades and Saraya Al-Quds, the militant wings of Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, confirmed the “execution of a martyrdom operation that took place last night, Sunday, in the city of ‘Tel Aviv.’”
According to the statement obtained by Fox News, the two terrorist groups threatened that “martyrdom operations within the occupied territories will return to the forefront as long as the massacres by the occupation, the displacement of civilians, and the assassination policy continue.”
