We just got to see Heihachi Mishima in action for the first time in Tekken 8 just last week, and it’s already time for his big return in the game.
Bandai Namco just released the official patch notes for Tekken 8’s Version 1.08.01 update that brings the new DLC fighter back to the stage alongside additional content and features.
A good chunk of the game’s cast have received adjustments with Devil Jin, Dragunov, Feng, Hwoarang, Lars, Law, Lee, Nina, Paul, Raven, Xiaoyu and Yoshimitsu notably getting balance changes.
Bandai Namco claims that more balance changes are going to come specifically to characters like Dragunov and Alisa in the next major update as well to likely include more nerfs.
These additions and changes will go into full effect once the Tekken server maintenance is completed later tonight.
You can check out the full list of patch notes below, which can also be found on the official Tekken website.

Behavior fixes and performance adjustments for some characters
– In v1.08, in addition to the behavior adjustments of several characters, we implemented small balance tweaks based on recent online match data. For certain characters whose performance stood out, we reduced their effectiveness within a range that does not affect their behavior in order to maintain system stability.
– In the upcoming v1.09 update, we are considering adjustments that will affect the behavior of certain characters (such as Dragunov and Alisa), including changes to the tracking performance of their attacks and the reaction of opponents when hit.
