Although it hasn’t been out very long, Tekken 8 is receiving its first update since launching at the end of last month.
Bandai Namco has now released the official patch notes for Tekken 8’s Version 1.01.04 update that includes balance changes and bug fixes.
The update itself doesn’t appear to be live just yet until the server maintenance is complete around 11 p.m. PT, but we can now see all of the adjustments being made.
Devil Jin, Dragunov, JACK-8, Jun, Leo, Leroy, Reina, Nina and Yoshimitsu all technically received nerfs in the patch while Steve and Reina got slightly buffed though most of these changes were made due to unintended uses and interactions.
The game’s Special Style and Balcony Break as well as Alisa, Dragunov and Lili also received some fixes / adjustments too.
Since there are balance changes being made, previous match replays from the previous version will no longer be available, which will be important to note for some players moving forward.
Super Ghost Battle data, on the other hand, will still apparently remain intact though we’ll have to see if this changes their logic or interactions in the new update.
