Tekken 8 server maintenance happening today for Version 1.03.02 update

Tekken 8 just received its Version 1.03.01 update a few weeks back to introduce Eddy Gordo and the battle pass, but it ended up adding more issues to the game too.

Bandai Namco is set to release the Version 1.03.02 patch today to try and fix many of those problems, and that of course is bringing server maintenance along with it.

To help prepare for the incoming update, Tekken 8 is scheduled to begin server maintenance tonight, April 15, beginning at 6:30 p.m. PDT / 9:30 p.m. EDT and last until roughly midnight PDT / 3 a.m. EDT.

During this time, all online functions will be unavailable to players including online matches, lobbies, leaderboards, in-game shops, rewards and more.

The new patch itself is planned to be available to be downloaded starting at 7 p.m. PDT / 10 p.m. EDT across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC though it’s unknown what the size of the patch will be currently.

Replays and tips from the previous game version will also no longer be viewable in-game.

As laid out in the patch notes, the new update sets out to fix issues with Rage Art and Heat Burst as well as reverting Tornado moves to how they acted previously.

Azucena, Eddy and Zafina are being touched up as well.

Bandai Namco has already revealed plans for a Version 1.04 update for Tekken to come sometime in May that’ll aim to mostly buff characters which are underperforming though we can expect some nerfs to come down on top tiers too.
