Tekken 8 roster ranked in tier list based on how difficult they are to pick up for beginners by King Jae

Tekken 8 was released just a couple of a weeks ago. With every new entry to a longstanding fighting game franchise, there will be a plethora of newcomers and beginners just now jumping into the series.

To help some of these beginners find that perfect character that works for them, King Jae has recently created a tier list that ranks the entire Tekken 8 roster based on how easy or difficult they are to pick up for a new player. This learning curve tier list bears a number of similarities to the one created by Diaphone and END|Landon D, but is also different in some regards.

Though Kazuya Mishima is often seen as the face of the Tekken series, it turns out that he’s not the best character for a beginner. He along with Bryan are said to be the most difficult fighters to pick up in Tekken 8 according to King Jae.

Fortunately though, there are plenty of combatants that are easy to pick up as the “easy” tier grouping has the most characters. For a player unfamiliar with the Tekken series, it’s recommended for a beginner to start with one of these characters.

The fighters in the easy tier category include Leroy, Paul, Jack-8, Lars, Kuma, Claudio, Victor, Azucena, and a few others. Of course, it’s worth mentioning that just because someone if considered to be easy to pick up, it doesn’t necessarily mean that that character is strong on a more traditional tier list.

Though fighters like Leroy and Kuma seen at the top of this difficulty tier list, they’ve been widely regarded to be weak overall. Check it all out below:
