Tekken 8 plus Mortal Kombat 1 and its Kombat Pack discounted to cheapest price ever in PlayStation's Days of Play sale

We’ve now reached the point where basically all of the big “new generation” fighting games that have been announced are out on the market and already reached a point where they’re getting decent discounts.

PlayStation just launched its Days of Play sale, which includes some pretty sweet fighting game deals, to kick off the end of the school year and start of the Summer season.

Tekken 8: Deluxe Edition has been marked down 30% to $70 to put it down to the same price as the base version of the game while icnluding the Playable Cahracter Year 1 Pass with Eddy Gordo and Lidia Sobieska, who also just received her gameplay trailer at Combo Breaker 2024 too.

Unfortunately, said standard version and the Ultimate Edition remain their usual prices though this is also only the second time we’ve seen Tekken 8 go on sale now after launching back in January.

The other big pick up in this sale is Mortal Kombat 1 plus its Kombat Pack hitting the lowest prices the game and its DLC have have reached with both discounted a whopping 60%.

So that means you can pick up the standard edition of MK1 for just $28 (with the previous low price being $32) while the Kombat Pack is $16 containing Omni-Man, Quan Chi, Ermac, Peacemaker, Takeda and Homelander, who also just received his debut gameplay trailer for the NetherRealm fighter.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 plus its Season Pass DLC are also included in the sale alongside Guilty Gear Strive with its first two seasons (though those still holding out for a Season 3 discount will need to keep waiting).

Other fighters included in the deal are BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, both Injustice games, and UFC 5.

It’s not technically part of the Days of Play sale, but Granblue Fantasy: Versus Rising’s standard and Deluxe editions are also discounted to $40 and $60 respectively until June 6 along with some other titles we’ll include below.

With Samurai Shodown’s console versions also finally receiving the long-awaited rollback netcode update, now’s a great time to pick up that game too for a decent price.

Interestingly, there’s no Street Fighter 6 featured here after the arrival of Akuma and the Season 2 balance patch though that will come back around at some point in probably the not too distant future.

You can check out the full list of fighting games and DLC in the Days of Play sale below, which will go on until June 14. Do note, however, this applies to the United States version of the PlayStation Store, so availability and prices may vary in other regions.
