June 06, 2024 BROOKLYN, New York – A teenage boy was shot inside a luxury apartment building in Brooklyn on Thursday evening, cops said
According to police and people we spoke with at the scene, a 17-year-old boy was shot during a prom party hosted inside an apartment unit at the ‘PLG’ luxury high-rise building in the East Flatbush neighborhood in Brooklyn, near the border of Prospect Lefferts Garden.
The teen boy was shot at least once in the stomach and rushed to Kings County Hospital in stable condition, police said.
“There have been more than eight home invasions and I’m just tired of it. To live in a building where there’s now been a shooting. I don’t know who got shot, but I know people were taken away, in ambulances,” said resident “Donnatella” while speaking with FNTV.
No reported arrests at this time. Police are searching for two male suspects who fled the scene wearing surgical masks, cops said.
It’s still not known what led up to the shooting and detectives are working to determine a motive as the investigation remains ongoing.
Incident was reported at 123 Linden Ave just before 9 p.m., inside the 26-story ‘PLG’ residential complex on Linden Boulevard between Bedford and Rogers Avenues in Brooklyn.
