The glitzy Tacarigua de Oro USA Awards (TDO Awards USA) transformed the EB Hotel in Miami into a dazzling spectacle on the night of October 12.
This prestigious event, renowned for honoring excellence in the entertainment, art, culture, media, business, and entrepreneurial industries, was made possible by the generous support of primary sponsor TVV and the unwavering backing of Doral Acura. Additionally, AM Radio Mundo station stood out for its outstanding support of the organization.
The gala served as a vibrant gathering for the Hispanic community in the United States, where the remarkable talent and illustrious careers of iconic personalities such as comedian Emilio Lovera, television producer Carlos Mesber, and journalist Pacho Tosta, who was celebrated for his 60-year career, were spotlighted. The evening was further enhanced by special awards that illuminated the event.
Emotions ran high as the night unfolded with an array of captivating musical performances by talented artists including Ivis Cequea, Manuel Arvelais, the incredibly gifted Marcela Cardenas, singer-songwriter Jeremías Lawson, entertainer Douglas de Chile, and the electrifying Salsa de Ahora by Motiff, as well as the mesmerizing tunes of Los Cardenales del Éxito. Moreover, a heartfelt tribute was paid to the legendary La Billos Caracas Boys Orchestra, and the acclaimed Venezuelan film “Simon” received a special award and tribute in the presence of its director, Diego Vicentini, along with part of the cast.
