A 44-year-old man has been arrested for the murder of Queens mother Orsolya Gaal.

David Bonola, 44, has been charged with murder, criminal tampering and criminal possession of a weapon.

It remains unclear how he knew Gaal, who was stabbed 58 times in her home in Forest Hills on Saturday at around 12.40am.

The NYPD is scheduled to give a press briefing ay 11.30am later today. Bonola is understood to be in custody at the 112th Precinct in Queens.

Police sources cited by NBC say he is the ‘handyman’ suspect that is believed to have had access to the home.

Detectives believe the pair argued inside before Bonola allegedly killed her.

There have been confused reports over where exactly inside the home she was attacked – some sources say evidence points to a struggle on the first floor, but others say she was killed in the basement of the home.

At 4.11am, a suspect was filmed wheeling her body along the street in the duffel bag.

Gaal’s husband Howard was out of town with their oldest son Jamie at the time, visiting colleges in Oregon.

At first, police suspected the couple’s younger son Leo, who was home at the time.

Neighbors photographed Leo being taken to the police station in handcuffs after his mother’s body was found half a mile from the home.
