Supply Chain Manager (80009) – Benoni
Job Purpose
- To ensure safety by ensuring OHS (ACT) Compliance, no fatalities occur on-site, no LTI incidents, and no critical /major findings
- To ensure efficiency by process standardization, developing robust products, capacity creation, and reduction of cycle time
- To ensure quality by obtaining SAHPRA site compliance, QMS /Cipla compliance, maintain RFT process/documents standards, and have no critical/major findings post inspections/ audits
- To ensure that the right people are employed and utilized in the facility such that we have the people with the right skill set, problem-solving abilities, focus on the development of current staff, and ensure the staff are performance-driven
- To ensure the overall reduction in site costs with regards to OPEX reduction, waste reduction, ensure RFT batches by reducing OOS, OOT, and deviations, ensure there are no write-offs of batches.
- To assist in new product development and/ or technology transfers
Key Accountabilities
- Planning of Customer Demand
- Plan, monitor & control the warehouse operations by coordinating with Procurement, QC/QA & Production in order to ensure material availability to support achievement of manufacturing OTIF
- Monitor activities related to material management and inventory control in order to ensure smooth functioning of manufacturing and packing operations
- Ensure cGMP and safety requirements are met by timely updating the Team about revised guidelines to avoid any deviation within department while facing GMP audits
- Manage the disposal of process waste on daily basis to clear the area and reduce space constraints and maintain hygiene of the area
- Monitor the Quality Management System for Store operations to meet cGMP and regulatory compliance
- Monitor the maintenance of records for State customs and excise to avoid any penalty and timely compliance of statutory norms
- Mentor/coach the team members and identify training needs in order to maximize performance of team members and to achieve better control in operations

Educational Qualifications
- Relevant Degree in Management preferable
Relevant experience
- 8-10 years of experience in Supply Chain functions (Planning, Purchasing, Warehousing, Distribution) within a Pharmaceutical organisation (preferable) with knowledge of cGMP, EHS and ERP systems
