The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced the Super Eagles squad for this month’s friendly games against Ghana and Mali.
Stanley Nwabali, who emerged as the team’s first-choice goalkeeper during the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, has been included in the squad. He will be joined by Francis Uzoho and Ojo Olorunleke as the other goalkeeping options.
Regular names such as Victor Osimhen, Kelechi Iheanacho, Alex Iwobi, Frank Onyeka, and Calvin Bassey are also expected to feature in the games.
Wilfred Ndidi who has recovered from the injury that kept him out of the 2023 AFCON returns, same as Sadiq Umar.
There is also space for new two new players, Gabriel Osho and Benjamin Taminu, while Cyriel Dessers returns following his fine start to life at Glasgow Rangers.

Notably, the Eagles are currently without a head coach following the expiration of Jose Peseiro’s contract on February 29.
The friendly matches are scheduled to take place on March 22 and 26, respectively.
