Nigeria’s Super Eagles are set to face Russia in a high-profile international friendly match this June.
According to the Russian Football Union (RFU) website, the match is scheduled for Friday, June 6. However, the venue for the game is yet to be confirmed by the organizers.
In addition to their fixture against Nigeria, Russia will take on European counterparts Belarus in another friendly on Tuesday, June 10.

Russia have also scheduled a friendly lined up against Zambia in March.
Meanwhile, the Super Eagles will be engaged in crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in March, where they will face Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
Nigeria’s match against Rwanda is set to take place at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali on Friday, March 21, while the home fixture against Zimbabwe will be held at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Tuesday, March 25.
