Italian Serie A club, Udinese have announced Maduka Okoye has successfully undergone surgery.
The Nigerian goalkeeper sustained a wrist injury in the league clash against Genoa last week.
The Surgery, according to Udinese was conducted by Doctor Loris Pegoli at the La Madonnina clinic in Milan.
Okoye is now expected to start his rehabilitation and will be sidelined for weeks.
The 24-year-old established himself as Udinese’s first-choice goalkeeper in the second half of last season.
He has made 14 league appearances for the club this season.
