How You’ll Make An Impact

Construction Planning & Execution

  • Overall responsibility for all onsite works within the responsibility of the Civil, Erection and Commissioning Team
  • Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to the project timeline and technical requirements.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and engineering teams to align construction execution with project plans.
  • Implement and maintain construction schedules, tracking daily progress and adjusting as needed.

Site Management & Coordination

  • Oversee the work of subcontractors, suppliers, and construction teams to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Organize and lead daily and weekly site meetings to monitor progress and resolve issues proactively.

Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with the requirements, regulations and procedures governing occupational environmental health and safety (EHS) while promoting and leading the zero harm cultures for the scope within your responsibility.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Ensure proper implementation of environmental protection measures during construction.
  • Legal responsibility for the project site and all site personnel, responsibility for on-site order implementation and quality results related to the Siemens Energy scope of work.

Resource Management, Problem Solving & Risk Mitigation

  • Planning, organizing, and controlling resources/processes including workforce, materials, and equipment to achieve project objectives within the constraints of scope, time, quality, budget, and safety.
  • Work with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid delays or safety issues
  • Quickly resolve on-site challenges related to materials, labour, or design changes
  • Liaise with engineers and project managers to implement technical solutions where needed

What You Bring

  • Educational Background in the fields of electrical or civil engineering or related field.
  • At least 5 years on site experience in a leading position (Electrical/Civil) site lead) on major construction sites.
  • Extensive experience in construction of complex industrial projects (preferably for High Voltage Electrical Power Projects) EPC and/or consortium projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of project management tools (MSP, Office 365, etc.)
  • Ability to coordinate a project.
  • Understanding of applicable standards, regulations, and laws
  • Mediation skills in case of conflicts
  • Interpersonal skills and good communication
  • Organization
  • Goal-oriented, comfortable working in diverse teams, and experienced in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
