Sub-Zero never came to MultiVersus but he just got announced for Fortnite

Warner Bros. had their own big crossover game in MultiVersus that Mortal Kombat inexplicably never came too, and now the game is about to close up shop.

But said Mortal Kombat characters are about to come to Fortnite. Well, at least one of them is.

Sub-Zero is going to be the new big crossover skins coming to the free-to-play shooter’s latest season that’s remained popular for we don’t even know how many years now.

The blue ninja seems to be the only real crossover pictured here too for chapter 6 season 2 unless the girl in purple is supposed to be Batgirl or we’re missing something else.

This of course isn’t the first time we’ve seen fighting game characters in Fortnite with Street Fighter’s Ryu and Chun-Li along with Sakura and corporate Blanka.

As for the fire to Sub-Zero’s ice, there is a skin already in Fortnite named Scorpion, but it’s not for the yellow ninja — though you know he’s never really far behind.

It’d be cool if Sub-Zero will also bring with him some ice-themed events to the game too, but we’ll be learning more about the update in the near future.
