The Parliament of Faculty Of Physical Science Students Association (FAPSSA) in The University Of Cross River State, (UNICROSS) Calabar had on Saturday May 13th 2023 impeached the President of the faculty Comrade Paschal Achiefel over forgery of certificate of return.
The impeachment notice was contained in a statement titled ; “Notification of impeachment of Comr. Paschal Achiefel, The Faculty President Of Physical Science Students Association (FAPSSA) UNICROSS Chapter” jointly signed by all members of the parliament.
The statement noted that apart from forgery of certificate of return, Paschal was also guilty of abuse of office, incompetence, corruption, misappropriation of funds, unavailability, dissatisfaction and unpleasantness to the executives and the faculty at large .
According to the statement, the president has been impeached and stripped of all his official powers as Comr. Eroh Blessing Eni resumes office as an acting president immediately.

The statement reads ” Sequel to section 22 sub section 1:b) of the constitution of the faculty of physical science, a person holding any office is eligible of impeachment if found guilty of the above mentioned petition. Therefore, the 2nd house of parliament faculty of physical science association deem it fit to impeach the president of physical science in person of Comr. Paschal Achiefel while Comr. Eroh Blessing Eni resumes office as the acting president as in section 9 sub- section 2:b) of the constitution.
Efforts to reach Come Paschal Achiefel for his defence didn’t scale through he didn’t take nor return calls made on his mobile phone.
