Street Fighter 6's latest odd crossover is with a Japanese morning show

Capcom seems pretty open to collaborating with just about anybody when it comes to Street Fighter 6, and we mean that quite literally.

The latest of which seems to be a Japanese morning show, Good Morning Asahi, teasing their own sort of crossover with SF6.

It appears as though the latest broadcast of the show featured the crew and their giant turtle kid mascot Nemurin visit Capcom’s headquarters to visit the fighting game division.

Since we’re not in Japan, we can’t see the full episode of what went down, but there are still some funny things we can witness coming out of it thanks to social media.

Most interesting of all is the developers actually modeled Nemurin into an actual fighter with Ryu’s move set up against Luke.

If you were worried that this is the unannounced content release coming this month, don’t be because the end of the post confirms Nemurin is not coming to the actual Street Fighter 6 game.

It seems Capcom is continuing their unique trend of making different builds of their fighting game that never publicly get released like we previously saw with Ryu beating up a stinky jacket or Street Fighter 5 Pocky Edition.

Really makes you wonder what all the company is going to be doing with this game over the next 5+ years. We just hope it’s going to be fun / entertaining.
