Street Fighter 6 to undergo server maintenance this Sunday night, here are the times and dates you need to know

Street Fighter 6’s online modes and features are set to be taken offline this weekend. Capcom is gearing up for another bout of server maintenance that is expected to last for five hours.

The company behind the latest in the long running fighting game franchise announced that the maintenance period is taking place this Sunday. Here’s everything you need to know about it.

“[Notice] #StreetFighter 6 server maintenance will take place during the time below,” wrote the official Street Fighter 6 Twitter account. “This maintenance is expected to last around 5 hours.”

The Buckler’s Boot Camp website has since been updated with the full set of details about this maintenance period. Below are the times and dates you need to know.

• Sunday, September 1 – 7 p.m. – 12 a.m. PDT

• Monday, September 2 – 2 a.m. – 7 a.m. UTC

• Monday, September 2 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. JST

With the announcement of server maintenance, Capcom reminds players that the times for this period are subject to change. Challenges, Fighting Pass, and the shop cannot be accessed even during their availability periods, and all online modes are also inaccessible during this time.

As an added note, maintenance periods tend to also wipe out any replay data you might have. So if you’re aiming to keep some of your recent footage, be sure to jump in before Sunday to get it all recorded before it’s deleted.

As far as what Capcom might be adding to the game when the servers return to being online, they announced earlier today that Cammy will be getting a special new color in Street Fighter 6. The color will begin its availability on September 2, so this maintenance is very likely adding compatibility for that.

In addition to this, we’ll likely see a handful of bug fixes and stability improvements made, as is the norm with these smaller updates.
