It hasn’t even been a full week yet since Terry Bogard hit the stage in Street Fighter 6 as the series’ first guest character, but another update is already on the way.
Capcom just announced that Street Fighter 6 is scheduled to undergo server maintenance tonight, September 30, in preparation for some new content coming to the game.
According to the official post from the developers, SF6 servers are slated to go down at 11 p.m. PDT / 2 a.m. EDT and come back up around midnight PDT / 3 a.m. EDT.
During this time, all online features will remain unavailable including matchmaking, the Battle Hub, the in-game store and Capcom Fighters Network.
At the time of reporting, however, we’ve been unable to log into SF6’s servers already, which could indicate the work began ahead of schedule or may just be some issues with the PlayStation Network at the moment.
The main purpose of the update appears to be to add the new Fighting Pass to the game centered around Darkstalkers and Halloween, which features a full Jon Talbain avatar costume in the premium version.
Considering there was a large chunk of balance updates included in Terry’s patch, Capcom probably won’t be doing any more of that here besides maybe some bug / issue fixes.
Stay tuned to EventHubs for more updates on Street Fighter 6 and the patch notes when they become available.
