Street Fighter 6 released nearly 10 months ago already at this point, and the game has been receiving pretty consistent updates ever since.
Capcom is going to be putting SF6 through server maintenance for a while tonight to seemingly prepare for its next update.
As was previously announced, the maintenance period will begin around 10 p.m. PDT / 1 a.m. EDT and last for approximately three hours in total — so servers should come back around 1 a.m. PDT / 4 a.m. EDT.
During this time, all online features will remain unavailable including online play, the Capcom Fighters Network, premium shops, certain in-game rewards and more.
It’s not totally clear what’s going to be added to SF6 once servers are back up and running, but judging by the in-game listing, the update will at the very least likely contain the new Fighting Pass.
[Notice] #StreetFighter 6 server maintenance will take place during the time below. This maintenance is expected to last around 3 hours.

What’s interesting is Capcom usually announces beforehand what the theme of the upcoming battle pass is going to be, but they’ve been pretty silent up to this point.
There are signs the Fighting Pass could be preparing for Akuma’s arrival in the near future like we’ve seen with previous DLC characters though their posts may have been made as a joke or pun.
We probably shouldn’t expect any major balance adjustments or much of that nature with the Season 2 update on the horizon at or after the release of Akuma though there could be some bug fixes or other slight changes.
Players should know much more soon around the time the servers come back online, so stay tuned for likely incoming patch notes and information on what the new Fighting Pass contains.
