Street Fighter 6 reality show with $10,000 plus more prizes announced by host Justin Wong and is asking for applicants

In just under a month, Street Fighter 6 will be crowning its first world champion with a whopping $1 million prize at Capcom Cup X, but that apparently won’t be the only way for players to earn a nice chunk of change with the game soon.

Legendary competitor Justin Wong announced today his plans to host a Street Fighter 6 reality show and is now seeking applicants to take part in the action with some big prizes on the line.

The show will be called NXT UP and is going to be an SF6 online reality show competition with challenges, competitions and eliminations until only one player is left standing.

Said winner in this potentially Mr. Beast-esque venture will receive $10,000 USD plus travel and accommodations for three FGC majors in North America like CEO, Combo Breaker and / or Evo.

Each episode is also said to include an additional MVP as well that will earn other prizes like Logitech gear.

Applicants need to fill out a form and submit an audition tape to introduce yourself and tell Wong what you’re about.

This isn’t really aimed at the top players that everyone already knows, however, as some of the requirements to apply include having never been sponsored by an eSports team before and not a highly established competitor already — along with being at least 18 years old and eligible to work in North America.
