The first installment of Metro City Academy is now live on Capcom Fighters. This new instructional series from Capcom aims to teach fans more about Street Fighter 6 leading up to its release later this year.
Fighting game community commentator Vicious is set to host the show, and rotating guests will appear alongside him to co-host. To kick off the first episode, fans can expect to see none other than fighting game legend Justin Wong as the first guest.
During the Metro City Academy live stream, viewers will be given in-depth explanations about Street Fighter 6, as well as character tutorials to help them further understand the upcoming fighting title. We can only assume that this series will focus on the first eight characters that have already been exposed to the public by way of two beta tests and several demos at various expos.
At this point in time, we do not know if Capcom will breakdown some of the newer fighters that we haven’t played yet on the show. However, we do know that newcomer Marisa’s theme will be revealed during this stream.
You can catch the live stream below.
Street Fighter 6 is slated for release on June 2, 2023. It will launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and arcade.
