Street Fighter 6 has received a fresh set of avatar costumes that aim to celebrate the winter weather and the holiday season. Those who like to dress up their created character for the game’s single player modes will be excited to see new gear options are available for purchase, though the price of said options might be a hard pill to swallow.
Right now, the Winter Glint Bundle and the Noble Bundle can be bought in the Hub Goods Shop. There are two different outfit designs each with three colors, and if you aim to buy them all, you’ll be looking at spending over $100 in one go.
“Warm up with these new cozy outfits for your avatar!” writes the official Street Fighter X (formerly Twitter) account. “Available now in the Hub Goods Shop in the Battle Hub. “
Each of these bundles grants your avatar a full outfit that consists of five individual gear pieces. In total, there are two new costume designs and there are three different color options for each — meaning if you want them all, you’ll be purchasing six bundles total.
The Winter Glint bundles will run you 600 Fighter Coins each. As we know, the closest Fighter Coins bundle to that price point that you can buy costs $11.99 USD and gets you 610 Fighter Coins.
Each of the Noble bundle options comes with a price tag of 1,200 Fighter Coins. The closest bundle to that price point will get you 1,250 Fighter Coins for $23.99 USD.
As a reminder, Street Fighter 6 does not offer players the ability to pay the difference or purchase exact amounts of Fighter Coins for specific items. This means you are forced to purchase one of the four available Fighter Coin bundles in order to pick up content from the in-game shop.
Once again, doing some quick math reveals that if you want to purchase all of the new winter avatar costume bundles (again, two full costume designs with three colors each), you’ll need 5,400 Fighter Coins. In order to achieve this, the best option you have is to buy the most expensive Fighter Coin bundle twice, which will get you 5,500 Fighter Coins at the cost of $99.98 USD (before taxes).
Should you get beyond the price tags, though, these new winter outfits deck your avatars out in thick, stylish coats, boots, hats, and everything you’d want to wear to stay warm in these chilly months. There are some cool color palettes here too, and the default Winter Glint bundle gives you a beret that gives off some Jill Valentine vibes from Resident Evil, which is slick.
