Plus some neat goodies we probably won’t be able to buy
Video games typically release as a polished and cohesive package, but there’s a lot more work, iterations and ideas that don’t make it into the final product, which we hardly ever get to see.
Street Fighter 6 Director Takayuki Nakayama has been sharing some new pieces of concept art for characters and costumes we hadn’t been released publicly before.
For Cammy, he shared an image with a couple of different early designs with the first appearing to be an updated Delta Red uniform with an open jacket and hat that resembles her days as a doll in Street Fighter Alpha.
The second we can only see part of, but Cammy has shorter hair similar final design but wearing a red beanie and a long green coat she leaves open under her chest.
Nakayama also posted parts of three potential Juri designs as well with the one on the left giving her a jacket that looks like it plays on the yin yang motif while her fair spikes are looking more Egyptian themed.
She’s also shown wearing a cut up sweater with smiley face buttons and a third outfit that basically goes full cyber punk.

Along with the ladies, Nakayama also posted unfinished artwork of Rashid that was likely being planned around his release plus an early Ryu without his sash.
Nakayama has been posting these to tease the Street Fighter 6 attraction coming to the Lagunasia amusement park in Japan running from March 2 through May 6, 2024.

It is said to feature a “real Battle Hub” as well as collaboration themed menus and new Street Fighter goods and collectibles.
He’s only sharing pieces of these materials because they’re apparently going to be featured in a special development exhibition area that’s going to put more behind the scenes looks at SF6 up for the public to see.
Beyond the art, Nakayama has also shared a couple of photos of some of the merch that is going to be available at Lagunasia including key chains of the ladies in swim wear and standees featuring Ed, Luke, Bosch and Jamie.
Good luck getting a hold of these though without going to the park yourself once it opens.
